Operations Manager

Hugo started working at Casey & Associates as an administrative assistant during his gap year between school and university in the summer of 2009.

During the gap year that Hugo took, he spent a month in India volunteering with Raleigh International digging irrigation ditches for crops and building a rain water harvesting tank for the school local to where he was staying. Upon his return from India, the vacancy of Administrator was available and Hugo started working the day after he returned.

Since then, Hugo has completed a full time university degree in International Relations at the University of Westminster, alongside working full time at Casey & Associates and has undertaken almost every role within the Company in his 11 years’ service. Hugo is currently the Operations Manager.

Hugo’s Father, Hugh, is the Practice Director for Casey & Associates. The gradual process of handing over the running of the Company has started, with many more years ahead until it is completed. However, the continuity of the Company being run by family helps to provide Clients with the peace of mind that their estate planning requirements will be looked after by the same Company in the future.

In his spare time, Hugo enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym as much as possible and watching rugby.

Cheryl Twinam BSc (Hons)

Administrator Manager

Cheryl studied Legal studies and applied Criminology in Canterbury. Cheryl particularly enjoyed criminal theories such as labelling theory and broken glass theory. She also enjoyed studying the law of tort and dispute resolution.

Cheryl likes to challenge herself in all aspects of her life, she enjoys expanding her legal knowledge at work and learning new DIY skills such as renovating bathrooms and installing new Windows.

In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with family and friends. She likes to take her energetic Lurcher, Millie, on long walks across the Ashdown Forrest.

Before joining Casey & Associates, Cheryl wished to work in the legal industry and her degree in legal studies gave a her brief understanding on Wills and Trusts. Cheryl joined Casey & Associates in August 2015 and the work and training has allowed Cheryl to deepen her knowledge in all areas of Will Writing and Estate Planning. She started by overseeing all the Lasting Power of Attorney documents, then moved into creating and auditing Wills. She now oversees the estate administration and manages her colleagues to ensure that all tasks are carried out efficiently.

Kerim Salih

Client Services Manager

Kerim has been with Casey & Associates since 2005.

In his spare time Kerim enjoys attending concerts, travelling and is an avid follower of a number of sports.

Kerim lives in Kent with his partner and their two children.

Verity Hickland

Having two children was the catalyst for Verity to change career from office management to legal services. Having passed through the Casey & Associates intensive (level seven) induction and training programme with high grades Verity is thoroughly enjoying her role as a Will drafter and Consultant.

With two young children Verity especially realises the importance of Guardianship Wills and a good Estate Plan.

Work and children do not leave time for much else, but Verity does try to keep her fitness levels up with regular training, 10km runs and the occasional half marathon.

Rebecca Boswood

Rebecca joined Casey & Associates in April 2025 and has worked in legal administration since 2010. Rebecca is responsible for overseeing the administration of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), including preparing LPAs, coordinating the signing process for our clients and their chosen attorneys, and ensuring each LPA is carried through to successful registration with the court.
